Great experience
Capt Mike and the crew were great. This once in a lifetime, bucket list( catch a marlin) adventure exceeded expectations. We were the only boat to catch a fish!!!! It was obvious they put a lot of effort into caring for the boat. The entire crew was helpful and knowledgeable. Their goal was to make this a great experience and they did. I’d recommend them to my friends and family!

Fantastic Half-day with an Awesome Crew & Boat
We had a great 1/2 day (morning) trip onboard the Reel Life – the most luxurious sport fishing boat I’ve ever been on (big cabin, A/C, nice bathroom – everything has been completely redone and is like brand new). Mike and Kahi were really awesome: friendly, professional, and landed us a huge beautiful Mahi-mahi that my 19 year old daughter got to reel in – her biggest fish ever. We also did a little bottom fishing and pulled in a few reef fish to mix it up. The scenery is simply unmatched, with views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, etc. Even if you don’t land any fish, this is a great excursion to see another side of Oahu. We even got a bonus visit from a pod of bow surfing dolphins!

Superb Trip with Captain Mike and Kahi
Captain Mike and Mate Kahi gave us a fantastic charter trip. The 48’ Viking was spotless and a fantastic and comfortable platform for the hunt. Ice was ready in the cooler for our beers and lunch, and Mike had fresh fish dips and crackers for us from local joints as well. We didn’t get into fish, but that is to be expected now and again—it’s called fishing, not catching. They pulled every trick in the book to get us on the fish, went to known hotspots, tracked down flocks of seabirds, deployed teasers, and changed baits as required for the conditions. They truly bent over backwards to get us on a fish, and didnt take the lures out of the water until we enterd the harbor channel. It was an absolutel fantastic trip—I would recommend Mike and Kahi 10/10 times, no question, and I would remind other charter guests, that you aren’t paying to catch fish, you are paying for the opportunity to catch fish. These crews are in it to set you up for success, but sometimes, nature doesn’t cooperate. Mike and Kahi, and Ohana Deep Sea Fishing were amazing. I will be back with them.
